Paintings of the Nude

I don't paint as much as i draw, it seems to be something i have to be in the mood for, but when i am I love it. I paint in Oils which i really enjoy but in the spirit of adventurousness I am inteding to try with acrylic at some point. However for the minuite oils and me seem to get on well. Oils seem to give a picture depth almost like you can reach out and touch, not just the body, but the person. Although hands are fiddly to paint i love doing them. There is something beautiful and personal about painting hands, I feel connected with the painting in just in the same way you can connect with someone when you give them a hand massage.
